Why should you join?
Volunteers help throughout the year at Jumpstart community events and service days. You can earn your Work-Study award by serving with Jumpstart. You have the potential to earn an additional education award of up to $1,000 to pay for tuition, loans, or even books! You get to build lasting friendships with peers while serving your local community and participating in a national movement. If you have no experience don't worry, every volunteer will receive 60 hours of professional training.
If you are a local business or community organization, you can get involved too. Local businesses can sponsor events, collect supplies, and raise awareness. Community organizations can partner with Jumpstart to support our programs and events which can help recruit more volunteers.
Jumpstart holds events throughout the year for children, families, and communities.
