Georgia Tech gives you the opportunity to participate in a variety of community service, outreach, and philanthropy activities during your time at school. No matter what your interests are, there is something for you!

Logging Your Service

Many organizations, such as IFC and PHC, ask that you keep track of all your community service hours throughout the year. In order to assist students with this task, as well as provide the Office of Community Service with information to better facilitate new projects, it is possible to keep track of all events registered through OCS. Simply Login to "My Service" using your prism ID (gtx###x) and password. Once logged in, you can look up events to track either by date (using the calendar) or by the host organization (under student organizations). Click on the event you wish to track, and click on the "Signup" link at the bottom of the event details. It will be added to your "upcoming events". To review all events previous attended, simply click on "My Service History" on the "My Service" tab.

Please understand that by clicking "Signup" you may not be registering with the event coordinators. Some organizations such as TEAMBuzz and Blood Drives require you to register with the coordinators either for a specific event or time slot. This is just a tool to help students keep track of what projects they have assisted with, and how many hours they have volunteered.
